Summer Associate Internship (Data Scientist)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour.

What you will do

• Build, rebuild, and refine machine-learning models for marketing use cases, including propensity and likelihood models.
• Design and set up A/B tests, statistical tests, randomized control tests, segmentation tests, and creative testing.
• Analyze member data to understand and predict customer needs and behaviors.
• Support marketing segmentation strategy and perform ad hoc analyses for current and upcoming campaigns.
• Develop dashboards that help stakeholders explore data and self-serve insights.
• Present analytical findings to stakeholders, including senior executives, and collaborate on cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree and graduating in December 2027 or later.
• Studying mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of machine-learning algorithms, deep learning, and the statistical and mathematical foundations of analytical methods.
• Experience with data extraction and wrangling, large datasets, and data storytelling.
• Experience with Databricks, SQL, R, Python, PySpark, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong communication, presentation, strategic, critical, and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• AI-focused coursework.
