Data Science Intern (Python/SQL)

Location: Denver, Colorado, 80205, United States; hybrid work with required in-person commuting

Salary: $22.10–$27.90 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Develop predictive models and support data-driven business decisions.
• Use data visualization tools to communicate insights and recommendations.
• Assist with automating data collection and maintaining data quality and integrity.
• Translate business goals into technical solutions and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Current senior-level student or higher, enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related analytical field.
• Availability for full-time work during the summer, up to 40 hours per week, and part-time work during the school year, up to 20 hours per week.
• Ability to commute to the designated work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques, large-dataset analysis, and data visualization.

Nice to have

• Databricks experience.
• Application development skills.
• Additional Python and SQL coding experience.
