Summer Associate Internship (Financial Risk Analyst)

Location: Vienna, VA, United States (Hybrid); 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ET.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete an end-to-end analysis of loan origination sensitivity across different interest-rate environments.
• Support the Net Interest Income sensitivity framework by assessing proposed loan sensitivities.
• Research and develop specialized financial risk assessment scopes.
• Gather, synthesize, and organize financial data, then present conclusions and risk mitigation or process improvement recommendations.
• Support risk assessment and testing activities for business processes, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in team projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Degree focus in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics, commerce, data science or engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic understanding of finance and banking concepts.
• Familiarity with effective project management skills.
