Associate Manager Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Data Analysis

What you will do

• Lead the integration of advanced sequencing informatics methods into multi-omics best practices.
• Identify opportunities to combine short-read, long-read, capture, genome, and depth-based sequencing modalities.
• Design informatics protocols for DNA-seq, RNA-seq, long-read sequencing, proteomics, and other multi-omics applications.
• Support joint bioinformatics research and development with technology partners to improve base calling, read mapping, variant calling, and data harmonization.
• Collaborate with genomics R&D, engineering, and production teams to deploy methods as industry-quality software.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Bioinformatics or an equivalent field; PhD preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in sequencing informatics methodology, including base calling, read mapping, and variant calling algorithms and software.
• Experience with large-scale multi-omics data, including DNA-seq, RNA-seq, proteomics, and methylation.
• Expert fluency with current bioinformatics tools and standards.
• Experience creating or adapting bioinformatics data structures and file formats to improve data actionability.
• Ability to work onsite in Tarrytown, New York four days per week.
