What you will do

• Architect, build, and deploy automated analysis pipelines for diagnostic tests.
• Analyze complex genomic datasets using scaled in-house pipelines.
• Engineer novel genomic analysis tools and identify optimization pathways for accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with wet-lab scientists and statisticians to support research goals.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation for core workflows.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to scale R&D tools into production systems.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of high-throughput DNA sequence data analysis, mapping, and variant calling.
• Strong software engineering proficiency in Java or C++.
• Demonstrated scripting capability in Python or Perl.
• Expertise in Linux environments and shell scripting.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
