IT Technician

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States. The role involves working on-site with flexibility for evening or weekend schedules and travel as needed. Eligible associates may work from home up to two days per week after training.

What you will do

• Provide in-house technical support for PC hardware, software, and end-user workstation devices.
• Respond to user calls and support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and repair and maintain systems.
• Manage network devices, VoIP systems, Active Directory accounts, email administration, and business applications.
• Support desktop and server operating systems, network administration, PCs, printers, and telephony.
• Research new technologies and solve more complex problems through special projects.

Requirements

• Two-year IT degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical skills in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written customer service communication skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings or weekends and travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI, DUI, or DWI violations in the last five years.
• Ability to identify cable colors, remain standing or walking for the full shift, and lift more than 50 pounds with occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
