Software Developer (AI)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States. Hybrid schedule; after training, eligible associates may work from home up to two days per week.

Develops business-critical software used by automotive dealerships globally, including web-based, client/server, mobile, embedded, and AI-enabled applications.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end, back-end, and full-stack applications.
• Review requirements, support technical design, and write clean, efficient, maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs and web services.
• Write unit tests and troubleshoot software issues across multiple environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with guidance from senior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, a development-focused coding bootcamp, or recent software development experience.
• Ability to write, test, debug, and maintain code in at least one language: C#, C++, Java, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, version control, basic database and API concepts, object-oriented programming, and data structures.
• Substantial software projects with demonstrable individual contribution are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or AWS and Azure.
• Exposure to full-stack development, Agile/Scrum practices, C#, C++, or TypeScript.
• Participation in hackathons or programming competitions.
