Automotive Business Consultant – Accounting Specialist

Location: Cleveland, OH, United States; remote work with travel across the country. The role requires overnight hotel stays for up to five nights per week, every week. Training includes fieldwork and classroom instruction in Dayton and Houston.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year. Training compensation is a $60,000–$63,000 base salary; targeted income after training is $80,000+ including bonuses.

What you will do

• Build professional relationships with automotive dealership customers.
• Assess dealership operations and identify areas affecting efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
• Apply established consulting programs and automotive industry knowledge to solve operational issues.
• Follow up after project completion to provide ongoing fee-for-service support and problem resolution.
• Develop customer trust and support additional consulting services sales.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least five years of automotive dealership experience, including office management, automotive accounting control, or AP/AR accounting.
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to five nights per week.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with fewer than two moving violations in the past three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the past five years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
