Entry Level Outside Sales Trainee (Automotive)

Location: Salem, Oregon; classroom training in Dayton, Ohio; relocation to an assigned U.S. territory is required after successful completion of the training program. Overnight travel is required 80–100% of the time during training.

What you will do

• Complete a 12-month sales training program combining field-based and classroom instruction.
• Study dealership operations, sales techniques, and negotiation skills at Reynolds University.
• Shadow a Sales Mentor, observe sales processes, and assist with customer calls in the assigned territory.
• Travel with customer service and installation teams to develop product knowledge.
• After training, sell automotive products and services to new and existing customers.
• Achieve designated monthly and annual sales quotas in an assigned territory.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI, DUI, or DWI violations in the last five years.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong time management and customer relationship-building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight 80–100% of the time during training.
• Willingness to relocate after successfully completing the training program.
