What you will do

  • Characterize process and product properties of large-molecule drug candidates and assess quality attributes of protein therapeutics.
  • Represent Attribute Sciences on cross-functional project teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary scientists.
  • Design experiments to understand therapeutic protein attributes and stability characteristics.
  • Develop, evaluate, and troubleshoot analytical methods using separation techniques and mass spectrometry.
  • Support drug substance and drug product process development, analytical data generation, regulatory submissions, and technology transfer.
  • Author regulatory documents and evaluate emerging analytical technologies, control strategies, stability strategies, and comparability.

Requirements

  • PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral experience where applicable; or a master’s degree with 3 years of directly related life science experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of directly related life science experience.
  • PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related life science field, with 2 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Expertise in analytical method development, qualification, and troubleshooting using HPLC/UPLC, CE, mass spectrometry, and related technologies.
  • Experience in separation sciences, protein chemistry, and/or mass spectrometry, including characterization of protein quality attributes.
  • Strong laboratory, experimental design, complex data interpretation, communication, and scientific documentation skills.
  • Understanding of GMP compliance and the ability to advance projects independently within required timelines.
