Talent Development Specialist

Location: Anaheim, California, USA; onsite

Salary: $22.01–$26.28 per hour

What you will do

• Provide career counseling, job-search guidance, personal advisement, and motivational support to program customers.
• Assess employment barriers, career goals, training needs, and appropriate support services.
• Manage customer participation, relationships, action plans, case notes, and success stories.
• Facilitate job-readiness and job-search workshops and support customer re-engagement after training.
• Review resumes and eligibility documentation and maintain accurate records and correspondence.
• Create career-advisement procedures, support team training, and assist with daily operations and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, marketing, business, human resources, or a related field, plus two or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting career counseling consumers in a high-volume human services or workforce development environment.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, computer, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with people facing barriers to employment, motivate customers, and deliver workshops.
• Knowledge of job-search strategies, community resources, referral networks, and local service needs.
• Ability to work first shift, work overtime when required, and travel when necessary.
