Day Shift Registered Nurse (Occupational Health)

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with clinical operations and occupational health regulations, including OSHA, Department of Transportation, and CDC requirements.
• Manage occupational health records, equipment, programs, OSHA reports, and worker medical files.
• Provide or coordinate physical evaluation programs and healthcare services that support employee health and return to work.
• Assess restricted-duty cases and help develop accommodations and return-to-work options.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety, Operations, and Human Resources on occupational health programs and services.
• Design injury-prevention, health-surveillance, health-promotion, and workplace-hazard controls while maintaining patient confidentiality and electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the applicable state
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare field.
• Understanding of federal and state occupational and environmental health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• BLS certification.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and professional skills.
