Professional Land Surveyor

Location: Westminster, California, US; hybrid work with required residence in California. The primary work location is Westminster, with possible extended assignments at an alternate work location. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 per year

What you will do

• Advise on survey strategy for major infrastructure projects.
• Guide survey and mapping efforts from initial requests through final deliverables.
• Review and approve legal boundary determinations and complex survey documents.
• Support the resolution of disputes, regulatory issues, and compliance risks.
• Develop surveying standards, templates, best practices, and risk-mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience performing complex survey analysis and preparing legal documentation.
• Experience developing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of surveying standards and compliance.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Employees must work and reside in California.

Nice to have

• Professional Land Surveyor license in the State of California.
• Ten or more years of progressively responsible professional land surveying experience.
