Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. The work arrangement will include an agreed proportion of on-site and remote work, discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.
Salary: CAD 92,490–127,200 annual base salary, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do
- Lead the product data vision, prioritized backlog, acceptance criteria, and delivery trade-offs for investment products across websites, advisor-facing channels, and enterprise distribution platforms.
- Define data dictionaries, business rules, lineage documentation, override processes, repositories, and operating controls for ETF, mutual fund, alternative investment, and portfolio strategy data.
- Run recurring data integrity checks, manage issue remediation from identification through closure, validate external data outputs, and coordinate pre-launch data reviews.
- Coordinate operational data stewards, Product, Technology, vendors, distribution partners, and governance teams on issue ownership, escalation, remediation, and delivery.
- Define requirements for automated quality checks, exception reporting, Jira workflows, SLAs, release management, and production-readiness controls.
- Extend consistent product data governance and delivery practices to advisor platforms, APIs, and future wealth data distribution capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, data product ownership, data governance, or a related discipline, ideally in asset management, Wealth Tech, FinTech, or financial services.
- Deep knowledge of mutual fund, ETF, alternative investment, and portfolio strategy data, including NAV, performance, characteristics, allocations, distributions, ratings, and product content.
- Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage documentation, business rules, controls, validation standards, and issue management.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, data dictionaries, lineage documentation, Databricks, APIs, data feeds, data quality monitoring tools, Power BI, and release or production support processes.
- Strong judgment, prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and follow-through in a regulated environment where external-facing data quality is critical.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required.
