Utility Engineer (Civil Engineering)

What you will do

• Create and maintain utility conflict matrices to manage and sequence project activities.
• Coordinate with design engineers to identify utility conflicts and support transportation improvement plan revisions.
• Draft, coordinate, and manage utility agreements between utility owners and client partners.
• Maintain correspondence logs, track due dates, and monitor responses and project documentation.
• Update project tracking charts and coordinate utility relocation schedules with stakeholders.
• Identify utility risks and recommend mitigation strategies to protect project schedules and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience and a Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with utility coordination and the ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer software.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 pounds.
