What you will do

• Process biological samples through accessioning, manual and automated extraction, library preparation, hybrid capture, sequencing, and quality control.
• Perform routine and complex diagnostic testing for clinical, biopharma, and academic partnerships.
• Interpret analytical data and results according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Support laboratory operations through sample and reagent preparation, documentation, maintenance, and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot assay and equipment issues, escalate risks affecting turnaround time or patient safety, and support validation and correlation studies.
• Contribute to SOP development, assay launches, continuous improvement, training, and cross-functional quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Current and active ASCP board certification.
• Current and valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure, Generalist or CGMBS.
• Working knowledge of DNA biology, PCR/qPCR, DNA ligation, DNA extraction, and common molecular biology instruments.
• Experience handling human biological materials and processing and extracting DNA from biological specimens.
• Ability to work on-site in Boulder, Colorado, and safely operate in a BSL-2 environment.
