Travel Laboratory Technician III/IV (Medical)

Location: Harlem, Montana, United States; onsite at Fort Belknap Hospital

Salary: USD $37.25 per hour

What you will do

• Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using analyzers, microscopes, centrifuges, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Prepare patients and collect blood specimens through venipuncture or capillary methods.
• Prepare patients for urine, stool, and other specimen collection.
• Review, verify, and report patient results.
• Perform quality control, calibrations, equipment maintenance, and related laboratory duties.

Requirements

• Associate degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Medical Technician from a recognized body such as ASCP or AMT.
• 2–3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Proficiency in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of microbiology.
