Senior Tech Lead (.NET)

Location: Remote in Colombia

What you will do

• Define and evolve the technical direction, architecture, and design patterns for back-end services.
• Lead the implementation and governance of SOAP and REST APIs, including versioning, security, and best practices.
• Establish standards for unit and integration testing, monitoring, reliability, scalability, and root-cause analysis.
• Review code, mentor senior and junior engineers, and promote continuous engineering improvement.
• Oversee the integration of legacy and modern systems and optimize CI/CD workflows and automated pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-border engineering teams on scalable technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production environment.
• Deep hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience with database design, optimization, performance tuning, SOAP and RESTful services, and XML serialization.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, clean architecture, and distributed systems.
• Advanced or fluent English is required; all communication is conducted in English.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, mentoring, and collaborative leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Azure or other cloud platform expertise.
• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development.
• Experience leading teams using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
