TL;DR
Lead Associate - .NET (.NET/C#): Building and maintaining robust backend applications and services across a consulting and technology estate with an accent on clean architecture, APIs, SQL Server, Azure, and automated engineering practices. Focus on designing scalable microservices and event-driven components, implementing secure integrations, improving observability and resilience, and mentoring engineers within Agile squads.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, APIs, domain services, background workers, and integration components.
- Implement clean architecture, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, secure coding practices, and maintainable service boundaries.
- Develop SQL Server and Entity Framework Core data-access solutions with attention to performance, reliability, and transactional consistency.
- Build containerised, microservices-based, and event-driven components for scalable and resilient platforms.
- Create automated unit, integration, contract, service, and performance tests, and contribute to CI/CD, deployment, observability, and release readiness.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, participate in technical design and Agile ceremonies, and resolve complex production and integration issues.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent delivery capability.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, backend services, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with clean architecture, SOLID, Domain-Driven Design, design patterns, and maintainable service design.
- Strong SQL Server and Entity Framework Core skills, including data modelling and query optimisation.
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Vite, or Webpack.
