Senior NetSuite Developer (FinTech)

Location: Guatemala/Fraijanes. Work from home 100% of the time or work from one of the global offices.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and optimize custom NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, and custom records.
• Translate complex requirements from Finance, Treasury, Transaction Operations, and Product into scalable, SOX-compliant technical designs.
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and financial systems such as Coupa, Concur, and Stripe using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and middleware.
• Implement unit, system integration, and performance testing while maintaining data integrity, performance SLAs, and segregation-of-duties controls.
• Support complex production incidents, lead root-cause analysis, and participate in an expert-level on-call rotation.
• Enforce SDLC practices, including Git-based source control, code reviews, SuiteBundler, configuration logs, and auditable change management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 5+ years focused specifically on NetSuite development.
• Strong experience with SuiteScript, including RESTlets, Map/Reduce Scripts, and User Event Scripts, as well as SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, Web Services, and SDF.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, GAAP accounting, and SOX-compliant environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing and quality assurance practices, NetSuite architecture, and customization.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with SuiteAnalytics or SuiteQL.
• Familiarity with Jest.
• Knowledge of OIC, OCI, and Oracle Fusion for post-transformation support.
