Senior Data Analyst (Finance)

What you will do

• Build and automate financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses using SQL in Snowflake and reporting tools such as Tableau and Sigma.
• Reconcile player activity, transactional systems, and financial datasets, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues through resolution.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance during financial close to investigate variances, validate data, and prepare supporting analyses.
• Support internal and external audits with data extracts, reconciliations, documentation, and control evidence.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics to define Finance-critical metrics, transformations, and reporting logic.
• Design data controls, reconciliation procedures, data lineage, and scalable reporting solutions for new offerings, jurisdictions, and markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analytics, accounting analytics, or a similar field.
• Advanced SQL expertise and experience analyzing large, complex transactional datasets.
• Experience with financial reporting, accounting reconciliations, financial close processes, audits, or financial controls.
• Understanding of financial data flows and accounting concepts, including discrepancy investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or Alteryx.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
