Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation)

Location: Inland Empire, California, with a planned permanent office in the Redlands area. Remote, hybrid, and onsite work options are available.

Salary: $115,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys may also receive an annual billable-hours bonus.

What you will do

• Develop case strategies for automobile liability, premises liability, product liability, and other civil litigation matters.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, trials, and full caseloads from discovery through trial.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and build relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across experience levels.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys while contributing to the growth of the Inland Empire team.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license required.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 1–8 years of litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a full litigation caseload.
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with strong critical-thinking, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Insurance defense experience.
• Experience in medical malpractice, professional liability, construction defect, or broader civil litigation.
