Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada; remote, hybrid, or onsite work options are available. An active Nevada bar license is required.

Salary: $100,000–$135,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional annual billable-hours bonuses may apply.

What you will do

• Develop case strategies that address complex legal and factual issues.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, trials, and a full caseload from discovery through trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across experience levels.
• Maintain professional client communication and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development.

Requirements

• Active bar license in the State of Nevada.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of insurance defense experience and 1–8 years of litigation experience.
• Experience with case strategy, depositions, trial preparation, and independent caseload management.
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
