Director, Program Management, Business Operations - Horizon (Gaming)

Location: Based in Novato or Los Angeles, California, United States

Salary: $155,600–$230,300 per year in California at the start of employment, with potential bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own recurring planning cycles, leadership cadences, cross-functional check-ins, and the day-to-day operating rhythm for the Business Unit.
• Run steering committees, business reviews, leadership offsites, and other executive forums from agenda development through follow-up.
• Capture decisions and action items, assign owners, track completion, and escalate stalled items and emerging risks.
• Manage Business Operations team members and coach Senior Managers and Managers assigned to initiatives.
• Scope, prioritize, and lead ambiguous special projects across Studio, Publishing, Legal, Finance, Localization, Insights, Ratings, and other functions.
• Build planning tools, trackers, reporting cadences, playbooks, and workback plans that improve operational visibility and consistency.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in business operations, project or program management, management consulting, or related roles.
• At least 4 years of experience managing people through recurring operating cadences and cross-functional programs.
• Experience owning executive-level governance and planning cadences, including steering committees and business reviews.
• Track record of structuring ambiguous problems, scoping initiatives, planning resources, and sequencing work without an existing playbook.
• Experience working with centralized service organizations and product or Business Unit teams in matrixed environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, systems-thinking, organizational, and escalation judgment skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, entertainment, media, live-service game production, publishing, or marketing operations.
• Management consulting, corporate strategy, or PMO experience.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Miro, and Confluence.
• Strong PC and Mac computing skills and familiarity with gaming terminology.
