Principal Product Marketing Manager, Foundational AI

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; hybrid, with in-person work Tuesday through Thursday

What you will do

• Own positioning and messaging for Foundation AI products and translate technical capabilities into narratives for creators.
• Use the products directly and develop a clear point of view on AI-native creation and Roblox's position in the AI landscape.
• Plan and lead product launches while connecting individual releases to a broader product and company narrative.
• Drive cross-functional go-to-market alignment across Communications, Legal, Developer Relations, and Creative.
• Bring creator sentiment and market signals into product roadmap discussions.
• Build sustained education and adoption programs that turn new features into regular creator habits.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product marketing experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience with developer tools, AI products, or technical platforms.
• Technical fluency and the ability to use, experiment with, and explain AI without oversimplifying it.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for developer, executive, and creative audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional go-to-market work and align product, engineering, communications, legal, developer relations, and creative partners.
• Strong creator empathy and the ability to build trust with product and engineering teams.
