Activision 2027 Summer Internships - MBA (Gaming)

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States; all internships are conducted in person. Applicants must currently reside in the US or be open to relocating to the US.

Salary: $20.00–$50.00 hourly in the US.

hirify.global develops, publishes, and distributes interactive entertainment and video game franchises, including Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and Guitar Hero.

What you will do

• Complete a meaningful 12-week MBA internship project with direct impact on a business or development team.
• For Tech Strategy, evaluate technology investments, improve development pipelines, analyze large-scale systems, and support operational efficiency initiatives.
• For Studio Strategy & Operations, analyze operational trends, support workforce planning, build executive presentations, and improve internal processes.
• Partner with technical product managers, engineers, game studio leaders, and business functions.
• Translate technical and quantitative analysis into strategic recommendations and business insights.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program and graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available for a 12-week internship beginning in mid-May or mid-June.
• Completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; technical strategy candidates should have a background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, while studio strategy candidates should have a quantitative background.
• At least 3 years of experience for Tech Strategy or 2 years for Studio Strategy & Operations in relevant technology, consulting, finance, analytics, strategy, or operations roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Experience with relevant tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel, R, Power BI, or financial modeling methods, depending on the internship track.

Nice to have

• Exposure to game engines.
• Prior experience in technology strategy or management consulting.
• Experience with statistics, forecasting, optimization, or analytical visualization tools.
