Design Program Manager, AI Evals

Location: London, England, United Kingdom. In-person onboarding is required.

What you will do

• Drive quality and velocity across the AI design evaluation pipeline through annotation rhythms, calibration standards, and feedback loops.
• Define high-quality reference designs that establish reliable evaluation benchmarks.
• Own contractor hiring, including sourcing, screening, closing, and capacity planning.
• Manage vendor logistics, budgets, statements of work, contracts, and purchasing with Legal, Security, and Procurement.
• Coordinate contractor and evaluation workstreams, including status, blockers, timelines, and dependencies.
• Review evaluation output with model designers and identify opportunities to automate operational work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in design program management, DesignOps, or an adjacent design role.
• Deep design craft expertise, including UI judgment and the ability to coach others on quality.
• Experience procuring, onboarding, and managing design contractors or third-party vendors.
• Experience improving team operations through rituals, processes, and documentation.
• Strong project management and written communication skills, including coordination across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Figma features such as auto layout, variables, components, and Slides.
• Experience orchestrating AI tools, APIs, or workflow automations.
• Experience running or participating in design evaluation or quality review programs.
