AI Business Partner Senior Principal (AI)

Location: United States Work at Home

Salary: USD 175,100–291,800 annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus and long-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Identify and frame enterprise-scale AI opportunities with financial, strategic, and technical rigor.
• Prioritize AI initiatives across the portfolio and prepare recommendations for executive investment forums.
• Shape enterprise AI architecture, reusable patterns, engagement models, build-buy-adapt decisions, and responsible AI standards.
• Set execution standards for use cases, specifications, acceptance criteria, prototypes, and iterations.
• Lead or oversee complex AI proofs of concept, pilots, and early production initiatives through value realization and transition to operations.
• Co-lead portfolio governance, mentor Principal AI Business Partners, and advise C-suite, CIO, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least two of the following: relevant formal education, professional AI/ML training, or hands-on experience building AI or data-intensive systems.
• Experience working in an AI-first way with modern agentic development tools.
• Senior product management, product engineering, or technical program leadership experience delivering products and portfolio outcomes at scale.
• Experience partnering with engineering and data science leaders as a technical peer, with strong financial and analytical judgment.
• Executive presence with credibility among C-suite, CIO, and engineering leadership stakeholders.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience, including leadership of AI or digital initiatives in complex enterprise environments, plus experience mentoring senior individual contributors or technical product leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience across multiple business units, domains, or enterprise portfolio governance.
• Familiarity with LLM application design, enterprise AI architecture patterns, and responsible AI principles at scale.
• Experience taking multiple AI initiatives from proof of concept to production and transitioning ownership to business operations.
• Experience contributing to operating models, playbooks, or centers of excellence adopted beyond one team.
