AI Business Lead - Personal Lines (Hybrid) (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role based in Short Hills, New Jersey; Hartford, Connecticut; or Charlotte, North Carolina

Salary: USD $163,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as the embedded AI leader and primary AI Center of Excellence representative for the Personal Lines business unit.
• Identify, shape, document, and advance AI use cases aligned with business strategy and executive sponsorship.
• Own the business unit’s AI portfolio, track initiative health, adoption, dependencies, blockers, and value realization.
• Drive adoption through training, enablement content, frontline feedback, quick wins, and business-unit-specific AI applications.
• Lead the AI Champions cohort and connect business stakeholders with enterprise AI resources and initiatives.
• Coordinate with technology and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and the Written Artificial Intelligence System Program.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of artificial intelligence, generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, AI assistants, and low-code/no-code AI tools.
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, pricing, distribution, or regulatory compliance.
• Minimum seven years of progressive experience in insurance operations, technology, product management, business analysis, or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
• Demonstrated experience with AI concepts and tools, with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
• Ability to manage concurrent initiatives, support behavioral adoption, track value, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
• Product ownership, business relationship management, business analysis, or change management experience.
• CPCU, AU, AIC, Microsoft AI, or Copilot certifications.
