Program Director, Physician Assistant & Clinical-Track Assistant/Associate Professor (Physician Assistant Medicine)

Location: Primarily on hirify.global's main campus in Stephenville, Texas, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM or as responsibilities indicate; occasional travel to Fort Worth, RELLIS-Bryan, and Waco campuses is required.

Salary: Target base annual salary of $150,000, negotiable based on funding, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Physician Assistant Medicine program and align its vision with college and university strategic goals.
• Develop and manage the program budget, allocate resources, and oversee equipment, laboratory, technology, and office-space needs.
• Lead curriculum development, academic assessment, accreditation preparation, and educational outcome measurement for provisional ARC-PA accreditation.
• Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and support faculty and staff while managing communication, conflict resolution, and student affairs.
• Support student engagement, retention, graduation, internships, experiential learning, and career exploration.
• Teach graduate-level lectures, seminars, and laboratories; assess student performance and improve teaching through innovative methods and technology.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies.
• At least five years of classroom experience and previous progressive administrative or training responsibilities.
• At least three years of healthcare experience and current NCCPA certification; P.A. Emeritus certification is accepted.
• Distinguished teaching and research record, graduate-level subject knowledge, and strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• The position is campus-based in Stephenville, Texas and requires occasional travel to other program campuses.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in health or medical education.
• Five to ten years of experience planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating an accredited physician assistant program.
• Academic department head or chair experience, or supervisory and management experience in an academic setting.
• Experience translating strategic plans into operational goals and leading direct reports.
