Program Director (Intellectual Disabilities)

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Salary: $49,400 annually, plus a potential $2,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet the mandatory educational requirements.

Provides person-centered support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical needs, helping them live as independently as possible.

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage assigned residential and/or day programs.
• Manage personnel processes, including orientation and ongoing staff training.
• Develop individual goals and plans and oversee program implementation.
• Coordinate medical, financial, maintenance, and operational aspects of programs.
• Lead teams and ensure services align with person-centered practices, licensing requirements, and organizational standards.
• Provide direct care and personal support when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field required.
• At least one year of full-time direct experience supporting people with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least two years of management experience working with people with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Strong decision-making, time management, communication, flexibility, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift or transfer people served and provide personal care.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and successful completion of a licensing-related criminal background check required.

• Experience developing and implementing individual programs, managing budgets, and supervising employees.
