Collections Account Manager

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 27.63 per hour

What you will do

• Manage early-stage collections for primarily commercial and some consumer accounts across hirify.global platforms.
• Prioritize accounts within the team and monitor outstanding balances.
• Negotiate payment timelines, partial payments, default fees, and related customer arrangements.
• Resolve early defaults and collapses, present solutions to management, and reduce the collapse rate.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and handle operational issues.
• Track and report work queue results using Excel and qualitative feedback.

Requirements

• Five years of collections experience in auto loans, commercial collections, or financial institution portfolios.
• Strong communication, listening, questioning, and probing skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and written communication by email.
• Self-motivated approach with initiative in identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
