Service Technician (Facilities Maintenance)

Location: Granville Towers, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States. Workplace type: Onsite. The role includes an after-hours on-call rotation and preparation for applicable inclement weather situations.

What you will do

• Complete work orders promptly, document and close them in the maintenance system, and maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment repairs, and other facility upkeep across resident apartments and public areas.
• Support property turns and coordinate with vendors, including escorting vendors on-site and facilitating their work.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe shops, storage areas, back-of-house spaces, and property grounds.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, curb appeal, trash collection, and cleaning activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance, apartment maintenance, maintenance technician work, or a related field.
• Ability to perform varied maintenance tasks independently while following established processes and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality.
• Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and respond to applicable inclement weather situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
