Technology Development Program - Data & Analytics Engineering Track Summer Internship (Data Analytics Engineering)

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three onsite days per week

Salary: $25.00–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, platforms, and analytical tools.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights for data-informed decision-making.
• Apply data architecture, engineering, visualization, and data quality practices.
• Collaborate with mentors, peers, and cross-functional partners on technology projects.
• Participate in technical training, leadership development, networking, and mentorship activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with an emphasis on data engineering and analytics.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, data governance, and data quality concepts.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, plus SQL for database querying and data management.
• Experience or familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship, including H-1B, CPT, OPT, or STEM sponsorship. Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, beginning May 24, 2027, and meet the onsite schedule.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher.
