Focus on designing scalable ETL/ELT architectures, collaborating with data scientists, and implementing cloud, DataOps, and MLOps solutions.
Location: Ohio - Columbus Metro; in-person internship in Columbus, Ohio

What you will do
- Collaborate with data scientists to transform AI/ML models into integrated business solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Transform raw data into reliable, documented datasets optimized for analytics and modeling.
- Implement solutions involving complex business requirements and systems integrations.
- Prepare specifications, requirements, scope documents, and logic flowcharts for application development.
- Test applications and solutions to ensure they are complete, executable, testable, and aligned with end-user requirements.
Requirements
- Pursuing a graduate degree in computer science, computer information systems, computer engineering, software engineering, web development, information technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
- Experience or interest in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline architecture.
- Familiarity with statistical and machine learning concepts.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, application support, logging, and data governance principles.
- Available for a full-time internship from May through August 2027 in Columbus, Ohio.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Exposure to DataOps, MLOps, or generative AI implementation.
- Experience with GitHub, PyTest, JUnit, Apigee, Swagger, REST/JSON, Splunk, or JavaScript.
