Power Generation Analytics Intern (AI)

Location: Henderson, Colorado; in-person commuting required under the hybrid work policy. Minimal travel within Colorado may be required.

Salary: $21.20–$23.10 per hour.

What you will do

• Support instrumentation design and installation for monitoring critical power-generation equipment failure modes.
• Review and update technical drawings and diagrams while coordinating with plant technicians, mechanics, engineers, and contractors.
• Support and enhance Asset Performance Management software applications using low-code tools.
• Use AI models to consolidate and interpret large organizational datasets.
• Contribute to equipment maintenance strategies, reliability improvements, and operational and financial risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines on field-work planning, project management, software design, and operational data collection.

Requirements

• Current sophomore-level student or higher as of Fall 2027.
• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Able to commute to the designated Henderson work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year.
