Talent Acquisition Data Engineering & Analytics Graduate Intern

Location: Remote or hybrid if local to a hirify.global worksite; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Strong preference for candidates in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone.

What you will do

• Establish connections between Talent Acquisition source systems and Snowflake with Data Engineering and IT.
• Configure Power BI connectivity, scheduled refreshes, monitoring, and data quality validation.
• Build a query-ready dimensional Snowflake model with historical requisition, funnel, and hiring activity data.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for requisition health, pipeline conversion, time-to-fill, offers, sourcing, recruiter workload, and operational SLAs.
• Create governed DAX measures, row-level security, performance optimizations, technical documentation, and troubleshooting runbooks.
• Translate business questions into measurable requirements and present dashboards and insights to Talent Acquisition and HR leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX measures, and data modeling.
• Experience with Python or R for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Working knowledge of dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipelines.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, APIs, or system integrations.
• Experience administering Power BI Service, including workspaces, gateways, deployment pipelines, or row-level security.
• Experience with large cloud datasets, Git, analytics engineering, or AI/ML techniques.
• Interest in Talent Acquisition, HR, or workforce analytics.
