Reliability Data Analyst Intern (Data Analytics)

Location: Denver, Colorado; hybrid work with in-person commuting required to the Lipan Distribution Center at 1123 W 3rd Ave

Salary: $19.00–$20.90 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze distribution system performance data, including outages, reliability metrics, and asset performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and Databricks.
• Validate, cleanse, and prepare data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and data teams on data-driven decisions.
• Perform ad hoc analysis, document analytical methods, and present findings to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Current student at sophomore level or higher as of Fall 2027.
• Enrollment in an accredited college or university while pursuing Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related degree.
• Availability for up to 40 hours per week during summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year.
• Ability to commute to the designated Denver work location and work in person under the hybrid policy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel pivot tables, data analysis, and visualization.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools.
• Interest in electric utility operations, infrastructure, or the energy industry.
