Army Financials Functional Consultant (5616) (SAP/ERP)

Location: Hybrid in Crystal City, Arlington, VA or the Pentagon, with at least 3 days per week at the client location

Salary: $140,000–$230,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Analyze Army and Department of War financial and logistics datasets to define integration logic for enterprise reporting.
• Normalize SAP and non-SAP data into data marts supporting HQDA and command-level reports and dashboards.
• Serve as the Financials subject matter expert across Army mission areas and U.S. government stakeholders.
• Support financial management, business process re-engineering, project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead functional workshops and meetings to clarify data integration logic and dependencies.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• At least 10 years of experience implementing and supporting Army ERP systems.
• Expertise in GFEBS budgeting and expenditure data, Army Financial Line of Accounting, and Army financial processes.
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP FI, FM, CO, MM, and PP modules and the impact of configuration changes on transactional postings.
• Experience with U.S. Treasury financial reporting, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and Army financial process re-engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
• SQL or PySpark query writing and programming experience.
• Experience working in Palantir Foundry.
