Principal, SW Quality Engineer (Banking)

What you will do

• Lead quality engineering, test automation, and testing innovation across payments, messaging, liquidity, custody banking, and trade projects.
• Define technical roadmaps and enterprise testing strategies, including proof-of-concept and feasibility studies.
• Develop and extend automation frameworks for user interfaces, microservices, and APIs.
• Promote automated CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines with early, frequent feedback.
• Analyze defects, resolve technical issues, anticipate risks, and manage escalations.
• Mentor junior SDETs and collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 14–18 years of overall experience, including at least 8 years in quality engineering and 5–8 years implementing test automation.
• 5–8 years leading teams of employees or contractors.
• Lead-level experience with Java, Selenium or LeanFT, BDD with Cucumber or JBehave, TestNG, and Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Bamboo, Jenkins or Concourse, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile development, QA processes, test methodologies, analytical problem-solving, forecasting, estimation, and ROI analysis.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
