Technology Project Manager (IT/AV)

Location: Plano, TX, USA; installation and commissioning support may be required.

Salary: USD 85,000–95,000 yearly

What you will do

• Act as the primary IT/AV subject matter expert for clients and business partners.
• Assess business needs and design enterprise systems covering voice and data networks, structured cabling, surveillance cameras, video conferencing rooms, and collaboration spaces.
• Lead IT/AV projects from concept through completion, managing timelines, resources, scope, budget, risks, technicians, and integration partners.
• Prepare bills of materials, review vendor quotations and invoices, and support procurement and cost optimization.
• Produce technical designs, system diagrams, as-built documentation, equipment lists, test results, and client sign-off reports.
• Oversee installations, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, end-user training, and executive support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT/AV system consultation and project management.
• Experience managing enterprise technology deployments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and unified communications platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking and video conferencing solutions, Cisco CUCM, Poly systems, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
• Strong executive communication, documentation, reporting, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Work authorization and employment must comply with the USA-based role requirements; C2C arrangements are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Vendor certifications from Cisco, Poly, Microsoft, or Zoom Video Communications.
• PMP certification.
