Sr Materials Planner

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Lead short- and mid-range supply plans for assigned product lines, supplier categories, and production units.
• Analyze MRP outputs, forecasts, inventory, lead times, safety stocks, open orders, and supplier performance to set order quantities and priorities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to confirm material availability, expedite critical materials, resolve constraints, and execute recovery plans.
• Manage inventory positioning, safety stocks, order policies, material allocation, and obsolete or at-risk materials.
• Maintain material master data, inventory records, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and planning transactions in SAP MM and WM.
• Develop supply chain metrics, risk analyses, recommendations, and continuous-improvement initiatives while coaching less-experienced planners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in supply planning, materials planning, purchasing, production planning, inventory control, or a comparable supply chain function.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, including MM and WM modules.
• Advanced knowledge of MRP, purchasing, production planning, inventory management, material allocation, and distribution principles.
• Ability to analyze complex data, solve problems independently, assess trade-offs, manage supply risks, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Effective spoken and written English is required for policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
