Senior Software Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and support distributed microservices and cloud-native platform applications.
• Build APIs, integration components, event-driven services, and reusable shared capabilities.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable, supportable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, lead engineers, and developers on platform delivery and technical design.
• Improve reliability through code reviews, testing, debugging, logging, monitoring, instrumentation, automation, and production support.
• Create reusable components, engineering practices, and documentation that improve delivery consistency and engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable cloud-native applications and services.
• Strong programming experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, or similar technologies, plus React and Next.js for user interfaces.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, real-time streaming architectures, serverless patterns, and AWS services.
• Knowledge of 12-factor application design, logging, testing, security, instrumentation, troubleshooting, production support, and version control workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, AWS Kinesis, AWS EventBridge, AWS API Gateway, MuleSoft, or Apigee.
• Kafka, Kinesis, or MuleSoft certification or advanced knowledge.
• Experience building self-service tools, reusable frameworks, or developer enablement capabilities.
