Claims Trainee (Healthcare Claims)

Location: Remote within a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga, Tennessee; training is primarily virtual with some on-campus shadowing opportunities.

What you will do

• Review, input, validate, and process healthcare claims data according to coverage requirements.
• Route claim issues to the appropriate support areas and follow up through completion.
• Assist with claim analysis, final determinations, and administrative support across the claims process.
• Gather and document relevant information for preliminary claim investigations.
• Use Facets and workflow tools to support timely and accurate claim resolution.
• Work overtime when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, time-management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn complex workflows, pass required testing, and meet performance expectations.
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time employee position in the Senior Care Claims Department.
• Training starts October 26, 2026 and lasts approximately 12 weeks.
• Training hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
• After training, employees may start between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM ET, with shifts ending by 6:00 PM ET.
