Summer 2027 Internships (Embedded Technology)

Company

Develops low-power wireless connectivity and embedded technology for smart home, industrial IoT, and smart city applications.

What you will do

• Contribute to engineering projects in embedded software, firmware, wireless protocols, cloud tools, SDKs, security, testing, product validation, or systems engineering.
• Support hardware bring-up, characterization, failure analysis, software validation, and quality assurance activities.
• Develop prototypes, reference applications, demonstrations, technical documentation, or business deliverables depending on the selected team.
• Apply programming, laboratory testing, debugging, data analysis, and automation techniques to practical assignments.
• Collaborate with technical teams, managers, mentors, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree program related to the selected area.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or later.
• Relevant coursework, academic projects, research, student organization involvement, or previous internship experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• For technical teams, relevant experience may include C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, embedded systems, firmware, microcontrollers, wireless protocols, Linux, testing, automation, laboratory equipment, or hardware-software integration.
• For business teams, relevant experience may include finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, communications, sustainability, Excel, data analysis, project coordination, or presentations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, or proprietary wireless protocols.
• Knowledge of secure coding, cryptography, authentication, or embedded security.
• Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, signal generators, or development kits.
