Sr. Staff Engineering Technician (Network Security)

What you will do

• Support component selection, procurement, qualification, product bring-up, and prototype validation.
• Manage prototypes across hardware, software, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring current revisions.
• Perform basic laboratory rework and coordinate rework with contract manufacturers and third parties.
• Support environmental and compliance testing and maintain current certification documentation.
• Create product documentation, including compliance certificates, MTBF information, and product manuals.
• Support sustaining engineering by creating test setups and scripts to triage product failures.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher; an entry-level electrical engineering degree with hands-on lab experience may also be considered.
• Six to eight years of laboratory experience for experienced candidates, or hands-on lab experience for entry-level candidates.
• Basic board-level testing and debugging skills.
• Soldering skills and basic Linux operating system and automation scripting skills.
• Ability to organize priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain quality.
• Ability to collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
