Service Manager UK (m/f/d)

Location: On-site at the Chessington, United Kingdom office, with travel to other parts of the UK

What you will do

• Lead UK service delivery and manage in-house and field service teams of 10–13 employees.
• Coordinate service administration, sales, logistics, repair status, warranty decisions, and escalations.
• Plan service jobs carried out at the Chessington site and coordinate operational resources.
• Review quality and performance standards and implement continuous improvement programs.
• Identify operational risks related to service delays, warranty disputes, and performance, then develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain equipment and facilities at the Chessington site, while recruiting and training employees as required.

Requirements

• Degree, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with mechanics, systems, machine tools, electronics, or mechatronics.
• Proven ability to manage customer expectations and lead business performance through relevant KPIs.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Ability to encourage innovative ideas, knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Chessington, United Kingdom, with travel within the UK.
