Business Insights & Analytics Coordinator (AI/Data Analytics)

Location: Fully in person at hirify.global’s headquarters in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 880–1,120 per week

What you will do

• Identify, design, and implement automation opportunities across reporting, analytics, and operational workflows.
• Analyze and prioritize the team backlog, implementing solutions that reduce bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Support business intelligence initiatives and deliver data-driven insights using SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, ETLs, and AI tools.
• Review and optimize processes in collaboration with business, product, and technology teams.
• Document solutions, share knowledge, and help ensure improvements remain effective after the co-op placement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and not graduating before the co-op role ends.
• Available to work 40 hours per week and in person at the Kitchener office.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau, SQL, and ETLs.
• Experience working in Agile teams, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication, collaboration, data analytics, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Currently studying Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; previous co-op experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot.
• Previous co-op experience.
