Senior Business Intelligence Developer Reporting & Analytics (Finance)

Location: Flexible remote, hybrid, or in-office work in Canada; current work location is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 105,000–152,000 total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus.

What you will do

• Research reporting and business data needs, provide status updates, and document reporting tools and procedures.
• Design, develop, deploy, and enhance reporting databases, applications, and business intelligence reports.
• Automate and streamline processes for business and finance users.
• Work with relational databases and flat-file sources to cleanse, manipulate, and integrate data.
• Design and perform testing for data integrity and application performance.
• Maintain and re-engineer existing Business Intelligence, Access, and Excel-based reports.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, finance, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with relational or multidimensional databases and SQL coding.
• Experience with complex business analysis, including data-flow analysis and modeling.
• Strong VBA programming, Access, and Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, project management, and process re-engineering skills.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Financial services industry experience.
• Experience with Business Objects, OBIEE, Power BI, Snowflake, or Tableau.
