Knowledge Specialist (AI)

Location: In-person at the hirify.global office in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Weekly salary: $880–$1,120 CAD

What you will do

• Develop how-to video tutorials with the Knowledge Team.
• Review product translations with the Localization Team and ensure content quality.
• Produce and distribute multilingual customer content.
• Acquire multilingual product screenshots for help documentation and release notes.
• Manage publishing queues and review and publish content created by colleagues.
• Address customer needs for multilingual content.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program and not graduating before the co-op term; enrollment in an official co-op program is preferred.
• Available to work 40 hours per week in person.
• Fluent in at least one language other than English; Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic are preferred.
• Proactive, independent, organized, and able to solve problems and complete deliverables on schedule.
• Familiarity and interest in AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
• Courses in communication, technical writing, rhetoric, or persuasive writing are considered an asset.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub for version control.
• Experience with MadCap Flare as a content management system.
• Technical writing experience for software and process documentation.
• Experience using Canva to create how-to video tutorials.
